B.A.P, or Best Absolute Perfect, is a K-pop band whose album has made it to the number one spot on the US Billboard World Albums chart. One Shot is the title of B.A.P’s second mini album that is taking the music world by storm. Famous Korean rapper Psy and Gangnam Style is the most recognized K-pop in the world.

KpopStarz explains what B.A.P topping the Billboard album chart means to the K-pop band:

“The Billboard World Album chart calculates the album and music sales through the Nielsen SoundScan and uses the data from the U.S. and other parts of the world to figure out the number 1 artists. Previously, B.A.P’s “ONE SHOT” was also ranked number 1 on the U.S. iTunes Top Hip-Hop Album chart. They also ranked number 10 out of 11 countries as well for the world chart. They also placed number 24 on the ‘Heatseekers Albums’ chart, showing their immense popularity.”

On February 23 and 24, B.A.P will have their first solo concert called “B.A.P LIVE ON EARTH SEOUL.” B.A.P set a record by having a concert only 394 days after their debut.

B.A.P also has a heart for feeding the poor of Asia. AllKpop explains how B.A.P is helping the world:

“Leader Bang Yong Guk is well known for his charitable work and many fans have followed in his footsteps of donating rice in B.A.P’s name. In commemoration for B.A.P’s first concert, BABYs from all over the world including Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia have donated about 5 metric tons (11,000 lbs) of rice.”

A special donation booth will be set up at the B.A.P concert for those visiting the fan event booth. About 1,000 fans from the United States, Russia, Japan, and China are flying into Korea just to watch their first solo concert.
