‘Oz The Great And Powerful’ Spoiler Shows Wicked Witch Of The West

Oz The Great And Powerful Brings Back The Wicked Witch Of The West

Oz: The Great and Powerful spoiler seekers were given a treat this week when a trio of photos were posted to the German-language comic book group Comic Forum with no accompanying comments.

(The star-studded premiere of Oz: The Great and Powerful was held Thursday, February 14, so it was only a matter of time before this happened.)

The images were picked up by Bleeding Cool on Monday, February 18 and revealed beyond a shadow of a doubt which of the three witches becomes the nastiest witch of all.

The Inquisitr will avoid spilling the beans as to whether Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, or Mila Kunis are guilty as charged, though we think it’s fairly obvious from the picture above.

What remains unclear, however, is how you-know-who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West and what future sequels will hold for the character should the star who plays her follow through on the idea to quit acting.

(By the way, don’t click that last link if you don’t want to know.)

Oz: The Great and Powerful opens in the US and the UK on March 8.

Who do you think is scarier: Wicked Witch of the West 2013 or Margaret Hamilton, Ms. “I’ll get you my pretty!” herself from The Wizard of Oz?

Although they show the pictures of the Wicked Witch, but somehow it is pretty difficult to tell who it is really.
If you look at the face structure, you can't really tell who it is because the Wicked Witch doesn't look like neither Theodora, nor Evanora. But because of the rumors, the Wicked Witch in the pictures could be Theodora, or Mila Kunis.

Is Theodora/Kunis still in the process of transformation in the first photo? I can tell it's Kunis there but the nose and chin don't look pointed as in the second photo. As far as Kunis vs Hamilton, I'd have to wait and see the film before making a final decision. As far as the 2nd photo, I think Kunis gives Hamilton a run for her money, particularly with that leather dress which gives a dominatrix sort of look to the witch, making her scarier. But I'm interested in how well Kunis owns the part, projecting the evil that Margaret Hamilton did in Wizard of Oz ('39).
