98 Degrees To Release New Album

98 Degrees sure are moving on up in the race to return back to their roots. Now that the band has announced that they’re embarking on a package tour with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men, there’s one more step to complete their return back to the music world.

The band, comprised of Drew Lachey, Nick Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jaffre announced that they will be releasing a brand new album.

In a statement, 98 Degrees lead singer, Nick Lachey said:

“We are really excited to bring our fans new music and get out on the road. This is a long time coming.”

It’s an album that has been anticipated by fans of 98 Degrees; one that has taken the guys more than ten years to make. Their last release came out in 2000, which is now 13 years old.

This new material could come in handy for 98 Degrees. After all, the fans will probably want new material when they join New Kids and Boyz II Men on tour. The tour kicks off on July 13, and we think a single wil most likely drop near that date.

About the new album and the tour, Dancing With The Stars favorite, Drew Lachey, said, “We’re excited to get back together and doing what we do. We feel reinvigorated by our bond and by our group, so we’re very excited by that.”

Their prior release “Revelation” fared pretty well for 98 Degrees. The album reached number two on Billboard, which was impressive considering Nsync and The Backstreet Boys were the far more popular boy bands in their hey day.
