Lil Wayne Banned? NBA Denies Singer’s Claim

Was Lil Wayne banned from the NBA? To put out shortly, no.

NBA Senior Director of Basketball Communications Mark Broussard told TMZ that there was “no truth at all” to Lil Wayne’s claim that he was banned from attending basketball games.

Wayne has been battling with the Miami Heat since he attended the Los Angeles Lakers game in Miami last week. Well, maybe it’s more accurate to say that Lil Wayne has been fighting with himself over the last week.

The singer said that he was kicked out of the game because he was rooting for the Lakers. The Heat said that wasn’t the case. The singer said that the NBA banned him from attending games. The league said that wasn’t true. The rapper said that he had sex with Chris Bosh’s wife. Bosh and his wife Adrienne haven’t responded to that one yet but judging by Wayne’s bizarre streak, I’m going to guess and say that it also isn’t true.

Adrienne’s friend and the wife of Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, wrote on Twitter: “Some people attack those who have the peace & joy they wish they had! Pay them no mind! Live your dream, strut & wave.”

What do you think of Lil Wayne’s statements? Do you think he really was banned by the NBA?
