Virginia Pizza Parlor Gives 15% Discount To Gun Owners

Virginia Beach, VA – A local pizza shop is slicing 15 percent off the bill of any customer who is a legal gun owner.

You don’t even need to bother with one of those annoying coupons.

Instead, any customer carrying a weapon or who produces a concealed carry permit qualifies for the discount at All Around Pizza in Virginia Beach through the month of March. Owner and gun owner Jay Laze also told WKTR Norfolk that he hires delivery drivers who carry guns.

Leaving aside the 15 percent pizza customer discount, considering the number of robberies committed against fast-food delivery drivers, that employment policy may not be a bad idea.

With regard to how the pizza discount relates to the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms, Laze said, “It’s part of our rights as Americans and everybody should be entitled to the option if they want to, so it’s nice to have an incentive.”

Kelly was inspired to reward gun owners with a downsized bill by a Utah frozen yogurt shop that was also offering a similar discount to customers who were packing heat: “I thought it was a great idea and I was wondering why nobody here was doing it. It should be happening all around the country.” The 15 percent percent discount is Posted on All Around Pizza’s website.

Do you think stores across the country should offer similar pro-gun discounts, or is this just pie in the sky? Would you be more or less likely to patronize a store that offers this kind of gun-owner discount?
