‘Iron Man 3’ Drops Guy Pearce Character Poster [Photo]

Iron Man Sequel

Another new character poster for writer-director Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 has found its way online.

With all of the focus on Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, and Ben Kingsley, you may have forgotten that the upcoming Iron Man sequel co-stars Guy Pearce. In an effort to spread the good word about the flick, Marvel Studios has unleashed the new character poster embedded below.

Pearce plays Aldrich Killian in the sequel. The geneticist works for Futurepharm, the company responsible for developing the Extremis armor system. According to IndieWire, the invention ends up in the hands of terrorists in the comic books. While this plotline hasn’t been revealed for the movie, many believe something along those lines will take place in the sequel.

Marvel describes the flick as follows:

“Marvel Studios’ ‘Iron Man 3′ pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark-Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?”

In addition to dropping an “extended look” trailer during the Super Bowl, Marvel recently unveiled another character poster featuring Don Cheadle as the Iron Patriot. It would seem the studio is doing all they can to get fans interested in the flick.

The new character one-sheet has been included below.
