Troubled actress Amanda Bynes recently revealed that her goal weight is a slender 100 pounds.
During her chat with Us Weekly for the publication’s “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” feature, the former Disney darling said she recently lost four pounds after moving to New York City. This has apparently inspired her to continue shedding weight.
According to the ABC News, Bynes’ revelation appeared as number 15 on the Us Weekly list. The actress said:
“I moved to New York City, and I love it! I lost 4 pounds since I moved. I’m 121 pounds — my goal is 100 pounds.”
Amanda Bynes recently shared her weight loss strategies in a series of recent posts on Twitter. In addition to a few declaration of “working out,” the former Nickelodeon star has also mentioned attending gymnastics classes.
The Daily Mail reports that the actress has started taking “stripper classes” in her bid to weigh only 100 pounds. Bynes admitted that she gains weight quickly, a fact which requires her to work out on a regular basis.
Although the actress’ commitment to staying in shape is commendable, her desire to shed so much weight is a little alarming. According to the International Business Times, Bynes’ goal weight could put her health in serious jeopardy.
After punching her height into a body mass index calculator, it was determined that Bynes should weigh somewhere between 122 and 164 pounds. The target weight for someone her height is around 146 pounds. By her own admission she is already one pound below the absolute minimum.
In addition revealing her weight loss goal, Amanda Bynes told Us Weekly that she is interested in recording an album and is addicted to online shopping. She also seems to have an affinity for eggplant parmesan and Diet Coke.
