Woman Marries Twin Sister’s Killer On Valentine’s Day

Talk about romance! A woman in Argentina married her twin sister’s killer on Valentine’s Day.

Edith Casas, 22, married Victor Cingolani in the town of Pico Truncado earlier this week. Cingolani is currently serving a 13-year-prison sister for murdering Edith’s twin sister, Johana, in 2010.

According to ANI, Cingolani was given a one day pass in order to marry his victim’s twin sister. He was escorted to the ceremony by prison guards and riot police.

SMH reports that no one from Edith Casas’ family was in attendance at the wedding.

Edith’s father,Valentin, said: “For me, they are both dead. Johana is with God and Edith with the devil.”

The wedding was originally planned for December but a judge put off the ceremony in order for Edith to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. The judge eventually had to let the wedding continue because there was no evidence that Edith was suffering from any psychiatric disorders.

Before the ceremony, Edith said, “I want to start a family with Victor because I love him. He is innocent.”

Edith may be in love but her family, as well as other people living in the town, are furious about the wedding. Edith and Cingolani were pelted with eggs as they left the courthouse on Valentine’s Day.

Cingolani said:

“I would have loved it if my wedding had been peaceful. I don’t want any mess. I understand the situation in her family. But they have to understand me in that what I do, I do for love.”

What do you think of the marriage? Do you think Edith made a mistake by marrying her twin sister’s killer?
