TiVo on Thursday announced a new partnership with Flingo’s LaunchPad video platform. The new setup will bring new content and better social sharing options to the TiVo setup.
Flingo will be featured on TiVo® Premiere set-top boxes, delivering more than seventy streaming-on-demand video apps to TV viewers.
TiVo customers will maintain the same features they have come to expect while also gaining access to Flingo’s full portfolio of applications. Fling features content from the likes of TMZ, A&E, History, Showtime, TV Guide, and over fifty other content partners. Flingo and TiVo have also partnered to bring brand new content developed specifically for TiVo via the ‘Launchpad for TiVo’ player.
Users will also benefit from Flingo’s one-click social sharing capabilities for a more engaging TV experience.
