Shia LaBeouf Revealed In ‘The Company You Keep’ Trailer

Shia LaBeouf is on the move! When he isn’t having unstimulated sex for a film, he’s being directed by Robert Redford in the new film The Company You Keep. The original trailer was released back in August, but now Sony has cut a second trailer for the film.

The film, which is based on the novel by Neil Gordon stars Redford, Shia LaBeouf, Julie Christie, Anna Kendrick, Richard Jenkins, Susan Sarandon, and Sam Elliott. It’s a promising cast, and the fact that Sony Pictures picked it up is extremely telling considering the studio has had major success with Oscar nominated Rust and Bone.

The Company You Keep’s official synopsis is as follows:

“The story centers on recent widower and single father, Jim Grant, a former Weather Underground anti-Vietnam War militant, wanted for a bank robbery and murder, who hid from the FBI for over thirty years, posing as an Albany attorney. He becomes a fugitive when his true identity is exposed by Ben Shepard, an aggressive young reporter. Grant must find his ex-lover, Mimi, the one person who can clear his name, before the FBI catches him. Otherwise, he will lose everything, including his 11-year-old daughter Isabel”

Recently LaBeouf has been departing from his Blockbuster work in The Transformers series and has instead stuck to indies. In The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, LaBeouf insisted on taking a real beating in his new gritty Sundance romance/drama. In addition, he will also take on the much talked about film by Lars von Trier in Nymphomaniac.
