Reality star Kourtney Kardashian, 30, has given birth to a 7 lb., 6 0z. baby boy early today at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai hospital.

Kardashian and babydaddy Scott Disick have named the child Mason Dash Disick. Disick and Kardashian were reportedly on again/off again and thought to be broken up at the time she realized she was pregnant. Kardashian announced the pregnancy in August, after a period of speculation as to whether the timing was right to have a baby:

“I definitely thought about it long and hard, about if I wanted to keep the baby or not, and I wasn’t thinking about adoption…”

“For me, all the reasons why I wouldn’t keep the baby were so selfish: It wasn’t like I was raped, it’s not like I’m 16. I’m 30 years old, I make my own money, I support myself, I can afford to have a baby. And I am with someone who I love, and have been with for a long time.”

Kardashian’s publicist briefly commented on the child’s arrival, saying:

“Kourtney just delivered a healthy baby boy about an hour ago.”
