A Pennsylvania man is accused of stalking his wife while packing guns, a machete, and a Valentine’s Day card. Flint Andrew Staton was also allegedly wearing body armor when following his estranged wife, Anne Staton.

Police officers reportedly pulled Flint Staton over when they noticed how closely he was driving behind his wife on her way to work, the Huffington Post notes. When Pennsylvania law enforcement officers ultimately searched the man, he was carrying a host of tools, weapons, and disguises.

Flint Staton reportedly had in his possession cable restraints, ammunition, wigs, knives, duct tape, binoculars, arrowheads, a machete, Kevlar military helmet, guns, a mask, and a Valentine’s Day card. The Perkiomenville man was under a court order to stay away from his estranged wife, Lehigh Valley Live reports. Anne Staton had on file two “protection from abuse” orders against her husband.

The Valentine’s Day card Flint Andrew Staton carried was entitled, “A Promise For My Wife.” The card was accompanied by a lengthy list of violent messages. A total of 39 pieces of paper detailed different forms of killing and violent acts.

Sgt. Timothy Hoats had this to say during a Morning Call interview:

“Based on the totality of the circumstances, this wasn’t a casual following. I think he’s dangerous.”

Staton was arrested on multiple charges. He will have to defend himself against the stalking, harassment, and illegal body armor and possession charges during his preliminary hearing. The Pennsylvania man will get his day in court on February 14 – Valentine’s Day.
