‘Monsters University’ UK Trailer Arrives Online [Video]

The UK trailer for Disney-Pixar’s Monsters University has found its way online.

The two-and-a-half minute clip gives fans of the 2001 box office hit Monsters, Inc. an opportunity to see their heroes before they were adults. Actors Billy Crystal and John Goodman have been tapped to reprise their roles as Mike Wazowski and Sulley, respectively.

Also lending their voices to the upcoming animated sequel are Julia Sweeney, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Joel Murray, Dave Foley, and Michael McKean. The flick is expected to arrive in theaters across the US this summer.

The official Disney synopsis reads:

“Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley,” a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.”

The Inquisitr previously covered the “extended preview” featurette, a short clip which gave moviegoers a glimpse of what to expect from the latest adventures of Mike and Sulley.
