Ellen DeGeneres’ More Than Passing Interest In The State Of Katy Perry’s Bosom
Katy Perry may have missed out on a Best Pop Solo Performance Grammy for her song “Wide Awake” (it went to Adele), but nobody missed her cleavage at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards last night.
In one of the most talked about photos to emerge from the music industry event, television host and comedienne, Ellen DeGeneres, can be seen openly ogling Ms. Perry’s bosom which was exposed in a low-cut mint green Gucci dress — even as DeGeneres’ wife, Portia de Rossi, looked on laughing.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, CBS had issued a memo asking guests to observe a pretty strict code and make sure “buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered.”
The memo also asked attendees to “avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples,” among other requirements.
ABC News notes that Perry wasn’t alone in ignoring the memo.
Others — including Jennifer Lopez who became this year’s “Angelina Jolie’s leg” when she wore a revealing Anthony Vaccarello gown, Kelly Rowland who dared in a Georges Chakra dress with cut-out detail, and Rihanna who dazzled in sheer, bright red Azzadine Alaia — either broke or bent the rules.
But whether or not Perry simply misjudged the extent of her “assets” or wanted to intentionally defy CBS’ memo, Ellen DeGeneres wasn’t complaining.
In other Perry-related news, Yahoo reports that her date at the Grammys — singer-songwriter John Mayer, who is also her beau of several months — took Perry and her parents out to dinner in Beverly Hills after the show.
Interestingly, the “Part of Me” singer changed out of her plunging Gucci dress for the familial dinner. Are things getting that serious?
