Faith Hill Sports Braces At Grammy Awards

Faith Hill sported braces at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night — a different kind of bling than other stars, like Carrie Underwood, showed off.

And while many of us certainly thought our brace-filled mouths were less than attractive, the country singer made her mouth gear appear classy — well, as classy as braces can be.

She paired her new bling with a black J. Mendel dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Tom Ford shoes, and a Bottega Veneta clutch, reports The Daily Mail.

Faith Hill posed on the red carpet with her husband, Tim McGraw, actress and friend Nicole Kidman, and fellow country artist Keith Urban. She also took the stage with McGraw to present an award during the show.

Hill’s braces are an insight into the sometimes seemingly effortless preparation that goes into red carpet appearances and awards shows.

Some of us recall closed-mouth smiles while wearing our teeth-straightening gear. But the country star was fearless, sporting a massive smile during the red carpet appearance and while she was up on stage.

The appearance of Faith Hill’s braces confused many who saw them for the first time at the Country Music Awards, notes Yahoo! News. Her fans were used to her flawless smile and confused as to why the singer had them on. She explained, however, “I had braces as a kid. I forgot to wear my retainer.”

She added, “kids, wear your retainer!” Faith Hill’s oldest daughters with Tim McGraw, Gracie and Maggie, have joined their mother in sporting braces.
