Kate Gosselin A Victim Of ‘Adult Bullying’

Former reality TV superstar Kate Gosselin claims she is a victim of “adult bullying.”

High school bullying is at an all time high. Recently a student was put into a coma because of a bully attack. Bullies are also now taking videos of their attacks and putting them online.

With all the attention being placed on child and teenage bullying, Kate Gosselin wants the world to know that it exists at the adult level too.

To get her message out, Gosselin has turned to online blog Bullyville. She writes:

“When my life became very public in 2006 with the airing of our show ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8’ on TLC, I was honestly surprised that ‘adult bullying’ via the Internet existed. I am a positive person by nature and the fact that people, many of them, flocked to the Internet to make ugly hurtful and untrue comments about myself and my family truly shocked me!”

Gosselin then refers to the tabloids as “legal” bullying:

“The tabloids printed lie after lie after lie in order to benefit financially, which in my opinion is a form of ‘legal’ bullying, people flooded companies that I worked for to spread their venom about me, sometimes spending days on end at their computers in a hope to ensure their bullying goal had been achieved and desperately wishing that the targeted company would ‘drop’ me.”

After discussing how adult bullying has affected her personal and professional life, Gosselin tells how she overcame the hurt:

“I ignore most of the hate and lies. I have better things to do with my time. I have eight wonderful children who need a mother to show them the love and support that surrounds them, not retaliation and bitterness.”

Do you believe that adult bullying exists? Is Kate Gosselin a victim?
