Exclusive ‘Rayman Legends’ Demo Coming To The Wii U

Ubisoft recently announced that Wii U owners will be getting an exclusive Rayman Legends demo in the very near future.

Although the company hasn’t said when the demo will be available, Ubisoft has confirmed that the forthcoming demo will only be available only for the Wii U. According to Joystiq, the decision was made to settle the nerves of fans who are upset about recent delays.

Ubisoft wrote on its official Facebook page:

“Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms. We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game.

“We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon. Stay tuned for more.”

Judging from the numerous comments on the company’s Facebook page, quite a few fans are unhappy about Ubisoft’s decision to make the game available on other platforms.

Cinema Blend explains that Rayman Legends began its life as a Wii U exclusive. In order to “broaden” the game’s audience, Ubisoft will port the game to both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. As of this writing, the sequel is slated to arrive this September.

Many folks reportedly purchased a Wii U simply to play the latest installment in the Rayman franchise. To add insult to injury, rumor has it the game is being delayed in order to port the title to other consoles.

Although Ubisoft has announced the Wii U exclusive Rayman Legends demo, it’s currently unclear when it will be available to gamers.
