Alexa Ray Joel, the daughter of singer Billy Joel and former super model Christie Brinkley has been hospitalized following a drug overdose and possible suicide attempt.
According to reports, an unnamed female (believed to be a house mate) rang 911, saying that Alexa Ray had taken an overdose of pills and “wanted to die.”
Alexa Ray Joel’s admission to hospital was confirmed by a rep, who said that “Alexa is stable. Her doctors are assessing her needs and that’s all we can say at this moment.”
Alexa was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for treatment, and is reported to be in a stable condition with a full recovery expected.
Following in her father’s footsteps, Alexa Ray has attempted in recent years to establish herself as a singer.

Christie Brinkley is an insecure loser, that's why her husband found someone else who didn't nag so much and knew how to spell her own name. Alexa has prob lived in her mom's shadow all these years with her ugly father-face and knows she can't compete. I don't care one bit if a druggie overdoses, they are useless to society anyway.
