Trump Threatens To Sue Maher For $5 Million
Donald Trump threatened to sue Bill Maher over a joke the comedian told last month on Jay Leno.
Trump said that he is now planning to sue Maher for $5 million.
Trump said on Fox And Friends:
“He promised me $5 million for charity if I provided certain information … Well, I provided the information, he didn’t pay. So today I sue Bill Maher for $5 million for charity.”
Last month on The Tonight Show Maher mocked Trump’s $5 million offer to President Obama by saying that he would donate $5 million to charity if Donald Trump could prove that he’s not the “spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan.”
After Maher’s joke, Trump provided his birth certificate and noted that his father was not an orangutan. That, according to Trump, entitles him to $5 million.
Maher hasn’t paid up the money so now Donald Trump is going to sue Bill Maher.
“He made the offer… I accepted his offer and he owes me $5 million, which I am going to give to charity. If doesn’t pay the money we will probably sue him.”
