Olivia Wilde Dresses Up As Showgirl For Vanity Fair Photospread

Olivia Wilde plays a sultry showgirl in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, a tribute to the Hollywood of old.

The issue features a stable of A-list actors posing as the “wilds of Hollywood” including Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper dressed up as a bear and a gorilla, E! News reported.

In total, the issue features 75 stars ranging from old veterans to on-screen newcomers.

From E! News:

“Oscar winners Tom Hanks, Halle Berry and Alan Arkin up the prestige factor, while Selena Gomez, Eddie Redmayne (as a magician—presto!) and Jonah Hill rep the next gen of promising stars.

“Newly engaged Olivia Wilde slinks by as a sultry showgirl, while 9-year-old Beasts of the Southern Wild wunderkind Quvenzhané Wallis bangs up a storm as a drummer.”

The one generating the most interest online is Olivia Wilde, who as E! News noted had quite a good January. Last month she announced that she was engaged to boyfriend Jason Sudekis after a secret holiday proposal.

Photographer Bruce Weber shot the stars as a tribute to Los Angeles. From Vanity Fair:

“Editor Graydon Carter wanted to do something different for the portfolio’s 19th year, so he called on Weber to create ‘Bruce Weber’s Adventures in Hollywood,’ an ode to the city’s warmer side. Weber convened the shoots at various historic Hollywood locations—including back lots, soundstages, the Beverly Hills Hotel, Musso & Frank Grill, and the old Marion Davies estate. He shipped selected LPs and a portable record player to provide the right musical accompaniment for the assorted cast of Hollywood characters.”
