NEC Debuts MultiSync EA222WMe Display With Green Capabilities

If you’re in the market for a green display that provides the type of output users have become accustomed to expecting, you need to check out the newest NEC display, the LCD based MultiSync EA222WMe.
The EA222WMe features an LED Backlit LCD output that uses 20% less power than other displays available by the company, while also consuming 52% less power and pushing out 61% less heat, all factors which lead to pollution.
The display also has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels with a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1 with a brightness of 250cd/m2. It also provides a 4-way ergonomic stand and comes equipped with a ton of connection ports including VGA, VID, DisplayPort and USB.
The green display is set to release sometime in December for $339. [SlipperyBrick]
