Ke$ha is getting her own reality show.

MTV announced Tuesday that the singer, whose real name is Kesha Sebert, will debut her documentary series, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life, in April.

The series will document her life over the last two years, following her as she records her latest album, Warrior, and travels around the world. According to MTV, the footage was shot by the 25-year-old’s brother, Lagan.

“You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that’s only a part of the story,” Ke$ha said in a statement. “With this documentary series I’m revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It’s not all glamorous but it’s all real.”

Ke$ha has been around longer than most people think. She signed to her first record label in 2005 when she was 18 and began writing songs for other artists and singing background vocals. In 2009, she made her breakthrough after appearing on the Flo Rida song, “Right Round.”

The following year, Ke$ha released her debut album, Animal, which spawned the singles “Tik Tok,” “Take It Off,” “Blah Blah Blah,” and “Your Love Is My Drug.” Later that year, she released her first extended play album (EP), Cannibal, releasing the singles “We R Who We R” and “Blow.”

Her new album, Warrior, was released on November 30, 2012. It debuted at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 before peaking at #2. The first single, “Die Young,” was briefly pulled from playlists following the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut in December.

Ke$ha tweeted her excitement about her new show Tuesday.
