Katherine Webb Begins Reporting Career At Super Bowl, Gets More Attention Than Players

Sure, Randy Moss said a couple of ridiculous things during Media Day in New Orleans but the real star of the show has been Katherine Webb.

The former beauty queen, occasional Brent Musburger fantasy, and current girlfriend of AJ McCarron, started her reporting career down in New Orleans today.

Webb, who was hired by Inside Edition to cover the Super Bowl this year, is currently riding a wave of attention into New Orleans.

She became an overnight sensation after Musburger made a few creepy comments about her during the BCS championship game. That little incident has led to interviews, a spot on a new reality diving show, a possible Sports Illustrated spread, and a reporting job at the Super Bowl.

Webb has done a great job capitalizing on her 15-minutes of fame and judging by the reaction she got in New Orleans today she may have found a new career path: Celebrity journalist.

Webb wrote on Twitter:

“Day 1: Media day. Absolutely NUTS. Thousands and thousands of people! So excited to share it with you guys!”

Webb has been interviewing players throughout the day but she’s also posed for several photos. Here are some pics of Katherine Webb at the Super Bowl.

Webb may have relished in her own stardom during media day but she also had a job to do. Here’s Katherine Webb’s first video report for Inside Edition.
