Elderly Couple Looking For A Sale, Walk Into A Rave

An elderly couple was looking for a sale when they ended up walking into an all-night rave party in Cambridgeshire, UK. The couple saw all of the cars sitting outside a warehouse and decided to go shopping.

Eighty-year-old Dick Dickens and his wife Lil, age 79 were shocked when they walked into the warehouse. Instead of a sale, the building was filled with 1,000 people. The rave had been going all night and the party was just starting to slow down when the elderly couple walked through the door.

As reported by The Sun, the couple did not see or hear anything to indicate what was going in inside the warehouse:

“We had been out shopping and we saw all these cars outside. There was no music or anything like that. The cars were parked all over the place. We thought it was a sale. I don’t think we were the only ones as there were several people wandering over to see what was going on.”

Although the elderly couple was looking for a sale, not a rave party, they did not run for the exit. The couple agreed to pose as someone snapped pictures of them with some of the ravers. The Dickens’ decided to leave after the pictures were taken.

Paul Allen, who was attending the rave took a picture of the couple with a group of his friends. As reported by Daily Mail, Allen do not mind having the unexpected guests:

“When they came in we thought they were going to have a bit of a moan but they were alright with us. They seemed like a decent little couple.”

Authorities are not amused with the ravers. The warehouse, which belongs to a local businessman, John Finn, sustained nearly $80,000 worth of damage.
