Sarah Palin Says Obama A Hypocrite For Supporting Gun Control Yet Allowing Abortion
Sarah Palin used the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade ruling to criticize President Obama on abortion, saying that he is a hypocrite for advocating gun control as a means to protect children while failing to protect the unborn.
Palin made the claims on her Facebook page, saying that Obama is a hypocrite for his stance.
She noted that Obama has said, if even one life can be saved by gun control, it is worth the effort. She found this to be ironic considering his continued support of abortion rights.
Sarah Palin wrote:
“The hypocrisy of it all, however, is that while the President publicly acknowledges the value of “even one life” when it advances his own political agenda, he fails to acknowledge as much when it comes to protecting the lives of children soon to be born. In that same speech, he proclaimed that “when it comes to protecting the most vulnerable among us, we must act now.” Well, who is more vulnerable than those who find themselves at the mercy of others to honor their existence and receive them into our world?”
Sarah Palin went on to say:
“When children in the womb are on the chopping block, the President is silent. When he places the Second Amendment, however, on the chopping block, children are his focus. Never mind the fact that his latest proposals would not protect them from evildoers and would, in fact, leave responsible, law-abiding citizens less able to protect them as well … Clearly, there is no shortage of hypocrisy coming out of Washington, and this is just one example.”
Sarah Palin seem to have hit on a right-wing theme, The Huffington Post noted. Other right-wing media members have made a connection between abortion and gun control of late, including radio host Rush Limbaugh.
“You know how to stop abortion?” Limbaugh said. “Require that each one occur with a gun.”

Poor Sarah. She just doesn't get it. The majority of Americans favor legal abortion, and the most recent poll proved it. President Obama is doing what the American people are telling him to do. That's how it works. The president works for the people. It is such a basic concept, but it completely eludes Ms. Palin (and her fringe-American followers).

Sarah, The GOP, and the NRA would be willing to strike a deal on abortions, if it was required that only armed citizens could shoot their kids with their own up to the age of 12 with an automatic assault rifle. Reasons for killing your kids would also have to include Biblical justification……….like if the child talks back to parents, steals a cookie or says God Dangit!

Kenneth, the tide has turned? Really? I'm 53 years old. Roe v. Wade never was not and is not about rape. I have never personally believed that a fertilized egg equates to human life, and I see zero evidence that society believes that. We intuitively know better, which is why we do not issue death certificates (or keep any kind of record) for what is medically known as spontaneous abortion, and known to you as miscarriage. One-third of all pregnancies end in spontaneous abortion, often before the woman even knew she was pregnant. The fact is that the majority of American people believe women are human beings and, as such, they get to choose what to do with their own bodies, just like all the other human beings, just like you. Society no longer believes that women are bound to spend their lives honoring your own personal, ignorant, ugly, oppressive beliefs, Kenneth. Get over it.

Send a shock wave to Dianne Feinstein and the extreme left. Sign the petition to repeal Senate Bill SBX211. When the entire Los Angeles Superior Court Judges face possible felony charges for excepting money that was NOT authorized by law. That should put them back on their heels for a while.
