Apple iPads And Free Engraving Promoted For Valentine’s Day

Apple is offering free shipping, free engraving, and discounted iPad accessories as part of the company’s push to reel in the Valentine’s Day shopping crowd.

On Tuesday, Apple launched a special Valentine’s Day promotion on its website. The promotion focuses on iPad and iPad mini gift ideas alongside a wide assortment of accessory categories for iPad buyers.

Apple is also offering free shipping for iPod touch and iPod nano orders and free engraving for Apple devices.

If you aren’t quite sure what your special someone would like for Valentine’s Day, Apple is also offering a Valentine-themed Apple Store gift card that can be used online and at any Apple Store.

Because orders can sometimes fail to arrive on-time, Apple has setup an order delivery webpage, which shows buyers order delivery deadlines for February 14.

Buyers of the iPad Mini will especially want to order early as supplies are still constrained in the United States. iPad Mini buyers should place their order no later than January 30 if they hope to receive the device by Valentine’s Day.

If you plan on buying your loved one an iMac 21.5-inch model, you are not assured delivery by Valentine’s Day because of limited supply. Twenty-seven-inch iMac systems are also listed as severely constrained due to manufacturing issues with the devices display provider LG Electronics.

Apple is also offering its popular print books via iPhoto, also with a January 30 cut off day for Valentine’s Day delivery.

Any order over $50 qualifies for free shipping, and free laser engraving is available for any iOS device purchased through the online Apple Store.
