Tom Arnold To Be A Dad For First Time [Video]

Actor Tom Arnold is going to be a dad for the first time at age 53.

Arnold and his fourth wife, Ashley Groussman, will welcome a son together in March of 2013, and the actor/comedian es plenty excited about becoming a dad.

Arnold announced his baby news during his guest co-hosting gig on The View Friday, joking, “I’m pregnant. I have put on, like, 40 pounds. My wife is pregnant too. We’re having a baby. It’s seven months (along) and it’s a boy and it’s my first baby.”

Arnold has made no secret of the fact that he suffers from low sperm count, and has said for months that he and his wife have been trying to start a family since they married in 2009. They finally consulted fertility doctors in 2011 to help them conceive, reports MSN.

Arnold and his wife turned to in vitro fertilization treatments, which ended up being a huge success for the couple. The veteran actor says that his unborn son is his “miracle” child, as he has wanted for many years to become a father.

Beaming, Arnold added, “We’re really happy, I just can’t believe it. I didn’t think it’ll be on the cards for me, it is a miracle, so it is a complete shock.”

Among Arnold’s ex-wives is comedienne Roseanne Barr, who ran for president in 2012. During the elections, Arnold confirmed to TMZ that he wouldn’t be voting for his ex-wife, saying: “I’m voting for Obama, but for God’s sake let Roseanne have her pot … she’s 60.”

Good news both ways: Obama won, and pot is legal in two states.
