Ahmad Rashad And Wife Sale Johnson Calling It Quits

Ahmad Rashad and his wife, the ex of Jets owner Woody Johnson, are reportedly headed for divorce.

The couple married in 2007, six years after Sale Johnson split up with her billionaire husband Woody. She and Woody had been married since 1977 and had three children together before they split in 2001.

Sale and Ahmad Rashad married in 2007, and Zap2It noted that after the tragic death of Sale’s daughter Casey they adopted Casey’s daughter, Ava.

Sources told the New York Post that Ahmad Rashad and Sale Johnson had been on the rocks for a while. Apparently they had been fighting over her $100M wealth, and she wasn’t too comfortable with his friendship with golfer Tiger Woods and NBA great Michael Jordan — both of whom had very public cheating scandals and divorces.

“Sale has asked him to move out,” the source said. “Things appear to be very bitter. He is trying to get her banned from his country club in Florida. And she worries about the influence of known adulterers Woods and Jordan.

“He plays golf with Tiger Woods. He’s also close friends with Michael Jordan, who was living with them for over a year.”

The couple lives together in a swanky estate in Jupiter, Florida.

If Ahmad Rashad had money in mind with the divorce, he can think again, another source told the New York Post.

“Sale has a watertight prenup with Ahmad, so if they divorce, he won’t be walking away with tens of millions,” the source said.

This isn’t the first divorce for Ahmad Rashad — it’s actually his fourth. The most famous of those came in 1985, when he married Cosby Show star Phylicia Ayers-Allen after proposing to her on live television. They divorced in 2001.
