Jason Trawick And Britney Spears: What Went Wrong?

Jason Trawick may have ended his relationship with Britney Spears, but the singer’s former fiancé still plans on being in the lives of her boys. Spears’ sons, Preston, 7, and Jayden, 6, were fathered by Kevin Federline.

A People magazine source claims that Trawick was like a second dad to Britney Spears’ sons. The pop star’s former fiancé and co-conservator allegedly does not plan on merely walking out the lives of the children he had grown so close to during the engagement. Kevin Federline is a “huge help” and a “wonderful person” in the boys’ lives, according to the magazine source.

The source also maintained that Britney’s wish to have more children was not the reason she and Jason broke-up. Ongoing issues in the relationship were supposedly to blame for delaying the wedding and adding more bundles of joy to the family.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick began dating in 2009. The decision to call off the engagement and go their separate ways allegedly did not involve either party having someone else waiting in the wings. A different People source had this to say about Trawick’s alleged issues with the relationship:

“Britney had a lot of issues with Jason doing his own thing, in business and seeing his friends. In her perfect world he would have been home with her 24/7, so that was a point of contention; something they were always working on.”

Britney’s stated in a release that she and Jason will remain “great” friends and that she will always adore him, according to the New York Daily News. Jason Trawick, who had served as Spears’ agent before the pair became romantically involved, had this to say in a release:

“As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”
