Kim Kardashian Talks Fertility Issues, Claims ‘Miracle’ She Got Pregnant

Kim Kardashian opened up about her fertility issues during an appearance on NBC’s Today show alongside her sister Kourtney.

The mom-to-be opened up about her pregnancy with Kanye West, saying that it was a big surprise for her and West considering her fertility problems.

Kardashian stated that, like her sister Khloe, she has faced problems in that department, reports Yahoo! News. She stated:

“Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens.”

She added, “I think it’s just such a blessing knowing my circumstances.” When asked how she’s been feeling so far, Kim Kardashian stated that she hasn’t “been sick or anything,” a big difference from Duchess Kate Middleton, who is due in July, like the reality star, notes EnStarz.

Kourtney and Kim appeared on the Today show on Tuesday to promote their upcoming reality show spinoff, called Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, which is expected to premiere on Sunday, January 20.

Kim and Kanye recently purchased a mansion in Bel Air for $11 million with the intent of raising their baby with the rest of their family nearby.

Along with talking about her fertility issues, Kim Kardashian also spoke about her divorce proceedings with Kris Humphries, who she married in a televised ceremony. The couple is technically still married, but they separated after just 72 days of marriage. Kim stated, “I can’t speak for anyone else. It’s a process .. It’s happening, hopefully.”

She also spoke about the possibility of marrying her current beau one day, once she is granted her divorce from Humphries. Kardashian stated:

“It’s something that we talk about, but I think it’s just right now [we’re] focusing on the baby. What I’ve learned in life is – I was always such a planner, and … you think your life is going to be a certain way, and the best surprises just happen when you don’t plan.”
