Next PlayStation 3 firmware update to include Facebook

Sony has officially confirmed that Facebook will be integrated with the next major PlayStation 3 firmware update.
The company made the announcement on its PlayStation blog on the same day that Facebook arrived on Microsoft’s Xbox 360. I’m sure that’s just an unfortunate coincidence.
PlayStation 3 firmware update v3.10 will allow PS3 owners to link their PlayStation Network account to their Facebook account, meaning the console will automatically update your Facebook News Feed with Trophy and PlayStation Store activity, instantly embarrassing you if you play stuff like Haze.
Interestingly, developers will be able to add code to games that will publish additional game information to your News Feed.
