Las Vegas, NV – Hisense, the world’s fifth-largest LCD television manufacturer, is sitting in Microsoft’s usual spot at CES this year, and has plenty of wares to keep the tech-savvy busy. One of Hisense’s biggest reveals is the UHD LED TV, which presents a crisp, clean image at the range-topping size of 110-inches.

Hisense is at CES showing off a collection of new TVs, including the Ultra-LED (U-LED) XT900. Available in 65-, 84-, and 110-inch sizes, the XT900 offers a comprehensive array of advanced features. The U-LED makes its debut at CES 2013, and represents breakthrough new technology developed by the Georgia-based company.

“The XT900 represents the pinnacle of Hisense’s R&D and innovative design capabilities, rightfully deserving the crown as our new flagship model,” said Peter Erdman, Vice President of Consumer Electronics, Hisense USA. “With the XT900, consumers can look forward to the very best in technological advances and freedom of choice at incredibly affordable prices.”

The XT900 offers the ultimate picture quality with an amazing 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution panels, which gives four-times the resolution of standard HDTV. The feature set includes WiFi-enabled Smart TV, active shutter 3D technology on 120HZ panels, and local dimming with mega dynamic contrast ratio.

Another stand-out feature of the new XT900 is the USB-mounted detachable camera, which enables applications like Skype as well as built-in gesture control and facial recognition technology. The remote control houses a microphone, which allows users to operate the TV using simple voice commands.

The Hisense U-LED XT900 was a stand-out piece of tech at CES this year, and while many other manufacturers revealed equally impressive TVs, the XT900 offers its own unique feature set. A spokesperson told me that the new Hisense TVs will be priced very modestly compared to others of its kind from competing manufacturers, but watching one of these TVs for myself, I’ve got to say, it doesn’t look like you’ll be sacrificing quality so much as simply saving a couple thousand bucks.
