“We responded to a report of a child suffering a seizure. We did not comment as to anything that may have occurred as a part of the ongoing investigation.”

Apple Valley, California police officers arrived at the home just after 4 am on Sunday. The little girl was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of the toddler’s death.

A neighbor of the little girl had this to say about the father and his girlfriend during an interview with KTLA:

“They fight like crazy. I went over there one day to help with the car. She came out asking when he was going to get done so they could get the kids off to school. He just flew off the handle and just smacked the dog out of her.”
