Man Appeals $400 Billion Copyright Suit Against Bon Jovi

Boston, MA (AHN) – A man from Chelsea, Massachusetts has appealed his $400 billion copyright infringement lawsuit against rock band Bon Jovi after a court dismissed the suit.

Samuel Bartley Steele, 38, filed the appeal on Friday following a district judge’s ruling that a jury could not conclude that Bon Jovi’s “I Love This Town” song is substantially similar to his “Man I Really Love This Team.”

Steele composed the song in 2004 for the Red Sox baseball team while the Bon Jovi song was released during the Major League Baseball playoffs in 2007. Steele claims Bon Jovi heard his song in 2004 or an executive passed it to him.
