Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD Monitor Also Moonlights As HDTV

Samsung Korea just announced their newest monitor the SyncMaster P2770HD, a 27 inch computer monitor that also offers a TV tuner with an HDMI input with 1080p HD resolutions.

The monitor also features 5ms response times, a dynamic contrast ration of 50,000:1  and two 3-watt speakers that offer what Samsung calls “simulated 5.1 surround sound.”

The P2770HD also features picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture operation so you can use your computer on one part of your screen, while watching TV at the same time on the other part of the screen.

At $473 it’s a steal and should start shipping globally in time to make a nice gift for a loved one during the holidays.
