Britney Spears Releases “Singles Collection”

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Britney Spears arrived belly-baring and baby-faced singing “…Baby One More Time” over ten years ago. Yes, we’re that old. Now, the international pop star celebrates her decade of pop hits with an all-new package, “The Singles Collection,” which arrives in stores this week.

“The Singles Collection” is her second hits compilation, following 2004’s “Greatest Hits: My Prerogative,” which included all her hits up to “Toxic.” “The Singles Collection” includes all that plus her “Blackout” and “Circus” hits like “Gimme More,” “Piece of Me,” “Womanizer,” and “Circus.”

“The Singles Collection” also includes her latest single, “3,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Spears’ ode to ménage à trois is currently heating up the charts all over the world. It’s also the only new entry on this collection.

But the “Circus” star’s record company is sure to hope the new disc is stuffed in the stockings of Spears fans everywhere. But what won’t fit in any stockings is the upcoming box set, for the real fans. Set to release by the end of the month, the “Singles Collection” box set includes individual singles of all of Britney’s releases, including b-sides, remixes, a special booklet, and a DVD with all of her videos.
