Verizon Wireless Now Selling Blackberry Storm 2 For $179.99

We mentioned last week that the Blackberry Storm 2 was about to drop at Verizon Wireless and now that release is official, you can pick up the Smartphone in Verizon Wireless stores throughout the U.S. and through their online portal.

The Storm 2 as we reported is going for $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and your signature on a 2-year agreement.

Here’s some of the specs found on the Blackberry Storm 2:

  • 3.25 inch display with 480 x 360 pixels of resolution
  • 3G Data Support via EVDO Rev A
  • Blackberry OS 5.0 with improved SureType technology
  • 3.2 megapixel camera with Autofocus and image stabilization
  • 1400mAh battery with 5.5 hours talk time

Not a bad option for $179.99 but we could really do without the mail-in-rebate part of the deal.
