A set of breast implants and a Harry Potter wand are among the items that were left at the UK hotel chain Travelodge over the course of 2012.
The implants were reportedly left at the Newcastle Central Travelodge at some point over the past 12 months. According to Yahoo! News, the implants were forgotten by a woman who was on her way to have cosmetic surgery. She purchased the implants in the United States and brought them with her to the UK.
In addition to the breast implants, a micro pig named Percy was also left behind at the hotel. The tiny animal, which weighed in at around 30 pounds, wasn’t the only animal to be forgotten by its owners. A Persian Chinchilla kitten worth around $975 was also left in one of the rooms.
Travelodge said regarding the kitten:
“The owner was in such a dash to get to the show that she forgot the cat box containing Porsha. En-route to the venue she realized as the car journey was very quiet. Luckily Porsha was having a nap and did not realize that her owner had left her behind.”
According to the Daily Mail, Travelodge also found a Harry Potter wand used by one of the actors in the film. The item was worth an estimated $1,600.
The hotel chain also said approximately 76,500 teddy bears were left behind by children last year. Author E.L. James’ erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey was a popular read among visitors; nearly 7,000 copies were trashed after they were left behind by various customers during 2012.
Also counted among the items forgotten by travelers was a bucket of crabs left behind by a visitor who was attending a nearby fish festival. A pet python by the name of Monty was also left inside the hotel.
