A car careened off the road near New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport early on Sunday. A woman was killed and three other people were injured, police said.
According to Yahoo News, The driver sustained minor injuries and was in police custody. A spokeswoman for the New York Police Department said no charges have been made.
At about 4:30 am, police received the call with reports of a car in the water, concluding that the driver had lost control of the vehicle.
The female passenger Dominique Jamison, 25, was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital. Two other passengers and the driver were sent to the hospital with minor injuries, says the Chicago Tribune. The other two passengers left the scene on their own, police said.
