Lady Gaga To Be Honored With Stylemaker Award

New York, NY (CNS) – Lady Gaga’s arguably questionable fashion sense will finally be formally recognized by the industry. The “Poker Face” hitmaker will be honored with the Stylemaker Award at the 13th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards.

Designer Marc Jacobs will hand her the award at the event on November 2, Monday, in New York, WWD reports.

The 23-year-old singer, known for her flamboyant wardrobes, is “well-appointed in accessories,” ACE President Karen Giberson stated, adding that people anticipate what she is going to wear next.

Honorees this year include Diane von Furstenberg for Accessory Visionary Award, Bottega Veneta’s Tomas Maier for Designer of the Year, and TOMS Shoes for Humanitarian of the Year. Girls’ toy Barbie will also be recognized as a Fashion Icon.
