David Foster And Katharine McPhee Fuel Dating Rumors At Lakers Game
David Foster and his rumored new girlfriend, former American Idol contestant Katharine McPhee, further fueled romance reports with a joint outing in Los Angeles over the weekend.
On November 6, the Daily Mail shared images of David Foster and Katharine McPhee sitting court side at the Staples Center as they cheered on their home team, the Los Angeles Lakers, to victory against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night.
In the photos, David Foster, 68, and Katharine McPhee, 33, appeared to be just as interested in one another as they did with the game, and at certain points, their eyes were focused only on each other as McPhee giggled frequently at the music producer’s jokes.
As the outlet explained to readers, David Foster and Katharine McPhee have been in one another’s lives since 2006 when Foster served as a mentor to McPhee during her stint on American Idol. The rumored couple also returned to the show together in 2008 to perform a song alongside one another.
During the early years of their friendship, David Foster was dating and later married Yolanda Hadid. However, in 2015, the couple parted ways after 10 years together and four years of marriage. Several months later, Foster was again linked to the singer.
While David Foster and Katharine McPhee have maintained silence in regard to the nature of their relationship, they appeared to make a joint appearance with one another in September during the Grammy Museum Gala. Around the same time, David Foster’s daughter Erin shared a photo of the alleged couple on her Instagram story and said she was excited about her “new step mom.”
David Foster and Katharine McPhee have reportedly also spent time in Vancouver with one another and after attending an event with music director Michael Orland and Katharine’s mother Patricia, they have allegedly been spotted getting cozy with one another on a number of occasions, including a recent visit to Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood, California.
David Foster and Yolanda Hadid announced plans to divorce in December of 2015, and earlier this year, their divorce was finalized.
