‘Fifty Shades’ Star Dakota Johnson Moving On With Chris Martin And Gwyneth Paltrow ‘Doesn’t Approve’

It has been over three years since their “conscious uncoupling,” but Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t seem ready to approve of any woman that is in Chris Martin’s life. For the Oscar-winning actress, no woman is good enough for her ex, and that includes Dakota Johnson.

According to People Magazine, Martin, 40, and Johnson, 28, are getting to know each other and cameras caught the two when they went out for sushi at a Los Angeles restaurant last month.

A source claimed the couple was laughing and very affectionate while they cozied up for dinner, and apparently, the romance has continued to blossom since then.

Before being linked to Johnson, the Coldplay singer dated British actress Annabelle Wallis, Jennifer Lawrence, and Alexa Chung. A source at Radar Online says that Paltrow has not approved of any of the women linked to her ex-husband, saying they are beneath him and she refuses to socialize with them.

The source went on to say that Martin hoped Paltrow, 45, would approve of Dakota Johnson, but that doesn’t seem to have happened. Martin is reportedly furious that his ex-wife is not happy about his much younger new love.

However, to be fair, the source reminded fans that Martin isn’t the biggest fan of the Shakespeare in Love star’s boyfriend, Brad Falchuk. Paltrow met the TV producer when she guest starred on Glee, a series that he co-created with Ryan Murphy. They started dating in 2014, just months after Paltrow and Martin split.

The singer and actress have remained close since their breakup, and are co-parenting their children, Apple, 13, and Moses, 11. The two were married for ten years before they separated, and a judge finalized their divorce in 2016.

The insider admits that Martin and Paltrow have a “bizarre chemistry,” and many of their friends think they need to drop the “conscious uncoupling” facade because it is preventing them from moving on.

As for Johnson, she dated model and rocker Matthew Hitt off and on for years, but they haven’t been seen together since 2016.

Dakota Johnson will appear as Anastasia Steele in the third and final installment, Fifty Shades Freed, which will be in theaters in February 2018, check out the trailer below.
