Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Not Back Together Yet Amid The Weeknd Split News — But They’re Getting There?
Are Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber really back together? Not so fast. According to an insider for E! News, the two former lovers are not officially back on — or at least, not yet. It’s true that #Jelena have rekindled their relationship over the last couple of days, as shown by numerous reports showing photos of them enjoying bike rides, eating breakfast, and attending church together in Los Angeles. That doesn’t mean, however, that they’ve taken the plunge already.
“Justin and Selena are seeing each other and will continue to be spending time together but haven’t described it as an official couple,” a source said. “Right now, they are figuring out if it will work again between the two.”
For now, says another source, Selena and the Biebs are just enjoying their time together, which might be another way of saying that they’re still testing the waters.
“Things have been moving really fast but they are not officially together as of now,” another source said.
It’s probably the best way to go forward, considering that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd’s split happened only several days ago after a 10-month relationship.
As previously reported by US Weekly, The Weeknd had suspected that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber might be getting back together even when he was still in a relationship with the “Hands to Myself” singer. In fact, says another source, Gomez and Bieber had been in contact with each other even before the split. Sources claim that Bieber wasn’t the cause of the breakup, although there’s still ongoing speculation that the opposite is true.
The recent photos that emerged showing Selena Gomez cheering Justin Bieber on at his hockey match at the Los Angeles Valley Ice Center in Ventura, California only serve to bolster the rumor that they are indeed back together. In fact, Selena was photographed wearing a hockey jersey at the time, which sources say belongs to Justin, as reported by Just Jared.

#Jelena fans have been over the moon since reports emerged alleging that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back together many years since their breakup. The on-and-off couple had officially called it quits in 2014.
Gomez and Bieber went public with their relationship in February 2011 by attending the Vanity Fair Oscar Party together.
The two had sparked dating rumors as early as 2010 but it wasn’t until the year after when they confirmed their romance. Bieber was Selena’s first showbiz boyfriend.
Justin Bieber dated numerous women since his split with Selena, including Hailey Baldwin and Sophia Richie. Selena Gomez, for her part, dated DJ Zedd and just recently The Weeknd.
Justin revealed in 2016 that tracks “What Do You Mean?,” “Sorry,” and “Mark My Words” from his Purpose album were about Selena.
