Terry Crews’ Sexual Assault Allegations Linked To Gal Gadot And Emma Stone Rep

Shortly after the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal made headlines, Terry Crews, The Expendables actor and former football player, joined the ranks of dozens of men and women sharing their stories about alleged sexual assaults.

In a series of tweets in October, when the Weinstein scandal first broke, Crews opened up about being sexually assaulted by “a high level Hollywood executive,” who allegedly groped his genitals during a Hollywood party. Although the 49-year-old actor stopped short of naming the alleged sexual assaulter, an influential Hollywood agent is being investigated over Crews’ allegations, as reported by Variety.

The publication revealed that Adam Venit, the head of William Morris Endeavor (WME), was placed on leave as the agency was conducting an internal investigation into Crews’ allegations involving Venit. According to its sources, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star had been prepared to name Venit as his alleged sexual assaulter.

Neither the agency, Venit, or Crews have commented on the matter.

Venit is one of Hollywood’s most influential agents, as he has represented A-list actresses and actors such as Emma Stone (La La Land), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Eddie Murphy (Coming to America), Diane Keaton (The Godfather), Vince Vaughn (Hacksaw Ridge), Sylvester Stallone (Rocky), Steve Martin (The Jerk), Adam Sandler (Happy Gilmore), and others.

Venit’s clientele also includes Dustin Hoffman and Brett Ratner, both of whom have been accused of sexual misconduct ever since the Weinstein scandal rocked Hollywood last month. Casey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea), whose reputation was ripped apart when several women accused him of sexual harassment seven years ago, is also represented by Venit.

Crews, who is also a client of WME, took to Twitter on October 10 to reveal the alleged sexual assault incident involving then-unnamed Venit. In a series of tweets, The Expendables actor detailed how the alleged sexual assaulter grabbed his genitals in front of his wife and “grinned like a jerk.”

Crews then added that he thought he was going to “kick his a** right then,” but after giving it more thought he stopped himself from doing it. The actor even tried to predict the headlines that would flood the media had he punched the “high level Hollywood executive.”

Venit, who is currently on leave, as WME is investigating his connection to Crews’ sexual assault allegations, is personally responsible for helping Gadot sign a major deal with Warner Bros. for the Wonder Woman sequel, as well as other films.

The WME agent is also responsible for putting together Adam Sandler’s four-picture Netflix agreement. Sandler has been in hot water lately, too. The actor was criticized for repeatedly touching The Crown star Claire Foy’s knee during his appearance The Graham Norton Show.
