WWE News: Triple H Attacks ‘SmackDown Live’ Superstar After Funny In-Ring Moment

With the WWE on tour in Chile this past weekend, wrestling superstar Triple H joined in on the fun, and also shockingly attacked a member of the SmackDown Live roster. The multiple-time champion, who was last seen in the ring at April’s WrestleMania 33, bounced back from his loss to Seth Rollins with a win in Chile. However, he took on one of the SmackDown roster’s heels before proceeding to attack one of the roster’s babyface superstars. Here are the latest details on what transpired at this weekend’s event with Triple H and the SmackDown Live star he attacked.

On Sunday, Wrestling News reported that “The Game” not only competed in a match at the recent WWE live event in Chile, but that Triple H also had another in-ring segment. Triple H had defeated Rusev in a match during the event, but also got into the power of the New Day’s spirit in the ring. Hunter proceeded to audition his dance moves with the group as they shook their booties in the ring for several moments to entertain the crowd. As much as he appeared to be hamming it up with the babyface tag team, Triple H went back to vicious heel mode rather quickly.

After some dancing around, Triple H suddenly turned toward Xavier Woods and lunged forward to kick him in the gut. From there, The Game hit his trademark finisher, The Pedigree, and rolled out of the ring. Hunter continued doing some dance moves as he waltzed up the ramp. Fans cheered after the latest antics involving Triple H and the former WWE SmackDown tag team champions. Several social media accounts have posted the video of Triple H dancing with New Day and attacking Woods.

All of that came in addition to Triple H picking up a win over SmackDown‘s Rusev via pinfall. As of this report, there don’t appear to be any reports or rumors that indicate that Triple H will be moving over to SmackDown Live, or that he’d be involved in any sort of feuds with either Xavier Woods, The New Day, or Rusev. This seemed as if it was purely for the fans in Chile to get to enjoy one of the top stars WWE has to offer. There are even rumors that Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, was part of the show due to other superstars having to miss the event in Chile.

Correction (10/24/17): Triple H attacked Kofi Kingston and hit The Pedigree on him in the ring, not Xavier Woods.
