The Chicago Bulls were scheduled to take on the Pacers tonight in Indiana but the game has been postponed to a later date due to severe weather in the area.
The Pacers made the announcement today on their website saying that fans will be able to use their tickets for the rescheduled game.
The Pacers write:
“The Indiana Pacers’ game with the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse has been postponed due to weather conditions. The game will be rescheduled and announced at a later date. Tickets for Wednesday night’s game will be honored for that game.”
The News Sentinel reports that Indianapolis has been hit with heavy snowfall since early this morning. Some areas saw more than a foot of snow and several flights at the Indianapolis International Airport have been cancelled.
The Bulls and the Pacers are both hovering above .500. The Pacers got the best of the Bulls the last time they met on December 4.
The Bulls – Pacers game may be postponed but the NBA does have nearly 12 games still on the schedule for tonight.
