New York, NY (AHN) – Disgraced former NBA referee Tim Donaghy has had his book canceled by Triumph Books, following concerns of liable after the NBA delivered threatening letters promising a lawsuit.

The book was already vetted, and was about to hit the press when Random House, the parent company of Triumph Books, decided against going forward.

Five other publishers have expressed interest in picking up the book.

Throughout Donaghy’s career, he has had several very questionably called games. In his tell-all book, he admits to selling information the gamblers, including what games he’s working and other insider tips.

He began to bet on the games he worked in 2003, and made calls based on the spread as well as telling which crews would officiate which games.

In the 2006-2007 playoffs, the Spurs won a very controversial series against the Suns.

It was largely believed that Donaghy may have fixed Game 3, or attempted to, based on some flagrant calls he made from as far away as half court.
