A Blow to Fashionistas: Jessica Simpson Honored for “Style”

This is the most depressing celebrity news I have heard all week. Jessica Simpson is going to be honored for her style. May I present Exhibit A, B, and C and say absolutely no way?

They could have easily invited Jessica Simpson as a guest and she would’ve shown up. Aren’t there tons of celebs more stylish than she is? What is going on? Jessica’s been wearing country flannel, poofy skirts, cringe-worthy prints, and no underwear. Oh, wait. Maybe someone enjoyed this (NSFW) and hoped it would happen again.

I’m stumped.
