Amir Johnson’s New Haircut Involves Raptor Claw, Red Dye
Amir Johnson’s most memorable play this year occurred earlier this month when he threw his mouth guard at one of the referees. Well, the Toronto Raptors player has given fans another reason to talk about him: His haircut.
Amir debuted his new haircut last night on Twitter. Johnson’s new look features the Toronto Raptor’s claw shaved into the back of his head and lots of red dye.
Johnson hasn’t said much about his new haircut besides the fact that it was done by Toronto based celebrity barber Prince Cut Kings.
It’s not surprising that Johnson has some pride for the Raptors at the moment. For one, they put him right back on the court after he received his one game suspension for acting like a child earlier this month. And two, the Raptors are currently on a four game winning streak. The team is still at 8-19 but they look a lot better now than they did at the beginning of the season.
According to Sports Illustrated, Johnson is currently in the third year of a five-year, $30 million contract, with the Toronto Raptors. He is averaging 7.3 points and 5.7 rebounds coming in off the bench.
