Austin, TX – Thai Noodle House restaurant manager Eddie Nimibutr received death threats after posting racist comments about the Sandy Hook shooting on Facebook. Many social network website users found Nimibutr’s comments about not caring if a “bunch of white kids got killed” extremely tasteless as the horrific tragic in Newtown.

The controversial Facebook post by the Thai Noodle House restaurant manager caused on online uproar, according to the New York Daily News. Eddie Nimibutr posted this message as details of the Connecticut school shooting were broadcast on Friday:

“I’m failing to give a damn about the CT shooting. I don’t care if a bunch of white kids got killed. When Israel launched missiles at the school on Gaza, everybody was too busy j*****g o*f. Why should I care about people who don’t give a damn about me?”

The Facebook post by the Texas restaurant manager quickly went viral online. The racist comments reportedly prompted backlash against both him personally and his business. A Facebook page was quickly created with the sole intent to bring attention to the comments about the Sandy Hook shooting and call for a boycott of Thai Noodle House.

The creators of the page verbally chastising Eddie Nimibutr requests that the Texas man honor the 26 victims of the Newtown shooting for the next 20 days. If Nimibutr refused to comply with the demands, the publishers vowed to keep the page active.

An excerpt from the Thai Noodles House boycott Facebook page reads:

“You took this horrible tragedy and made it about yourself. You pressed narcissism, racism, contempt, and hatred. It is time to make it about the children.”

Thai Noodles House has reportedly gotten a multitude of complaints on Yelp. Some of the reviewers are calling for a boycott of the Texas restaurant; others have threatened physical harm against Eddie Nimibutr.

After all the public chaos of his comments ensued, Nimibutr posted this on his Facebook page:

“If you don’t like me or my opinions, I suggest you to unfriend me and p**s o*f. I am pretty much sick of some people telling me what to think, how to think, or how to feel today, and if you don’t like my foods, p**s o*f and eat someplace else.”

The Thai Noodles House manager appeared to grow a bit concerned after multiple death threats and toned down his sentiments during a KEYE-TV News interview, where he opted against facing the camera:

“Maybe it was a little insensitive to write something like that on the day of the shooting. It was not my intention to piss anyone off. It was my way to cope and decompress from the event that just happened.”
